Mobi Talks

The Mobility Talks were the second major event of PMS2023, with panel discussions organised by the project's partners at the Rectory of Universidade Nova de Lisboa on 27 September. EDP debated the critical issue of fleet electrification - which accounts for 50 per cent of emissions - with the presence of its director, Carlos Moreira. ACAP and its secretary-general, Hélder Pedro, defended a plan to incentivise the scrapping of old vehicles and the maintenance of subsidies for the purchase of electric vehicles. Deloitte exposed Portugal's shortcomings in integrating shared mobility services and proposed technological solutions. And Cascais City Council showed the innovations taking place in the municipality: a hydrogen production centre in the testing phase and hydrogen buses already on the road. Watch the best moments here.
